Virbis is the Virtual Infrastructure division of Venridge Limited, and sister company to IT and professional services reseller Contrac IT Source. With server and SAN virtualisation technologies reaching maturity, Virbis was launched in January 2006 with the aim of becoming a leading force in the UK Virtualisation marketplace.
Working closely with Virbis we developed a corporate identity which was rolled out across both conventional and email stationery. We also built an extensive information-led web site featuring "Virbis man" - a character designed to project a friendly and professional image, despite a lack of distinguishing features. The site incorporated XML configuration files to control the Flash elements, and support for Macromedia Contribute, thus providing the customer with the means to maintain the site themselves with very little financial or time overhead.
